In order for your tours to run as smoothly as possible, we would like to draw your attention to the following conditions and details. We request that you read them carefully, as all your travel arrangements will be governed by these conditions.

A - Change in Group Size or Dates
Any changes in the number of travelling passengers or changes to the period/length of stay reserved must be advised in writing to French Travel Partners (hereafter dominated as FTP).

If the actual number of participants is less than specified in the final quotation, a price increase may occur. Likewise a change in date/duration of stay may cause a price increase. We will ask you to pay the extra pro-rata charges.

In the event of major modifications to the programme and/or numbers made after the final invoice has been raised (i.e. at 56 days prior to arrival), FTP reserves the right to charge an administration fee over and above the cost of any extra services.

B - Cancellation Conditions and Policy
Whilst we will endeavours to be as flexible as possible with regards to option dates / cancellation deadlines, the following conditions will apply :-

• Up to 57 days prior to arrival : NO-CHARGE - unless non-refundable deposits have been paid on your behalf.
• Between 56-42 days prior to arrival : 10 % + any non-refundable deposits paid on your behalf.
• Between 41-31 days prior to arrival : 20 % + any non refundable deposits paid on your behalf.
• Between 30-21 days prior to arrival : 40% + any non refundable deposits paid on your behalf.
• Between 20-11 days prior to arrival : 75% + any non refundable deposits paid on your behalf.
• Within 10 days prior to arrival : 100%
• No-shows/interrupted stay/services Will be charged in full. It is normal practice for suppliers to charge for services under these circumstances.

C - Pricing
The prices quoted are net, net of commission and based on tariffs and taxes currently in force. FTP reserves the right to make any adjustments to these prices, arising from any change in VAT and tax rates and tariffs or seasonal supplements at any time, until the services are paid in full.

D - Invoicing / Payment Terms
Upon confirmation of each group or tour schedule, services will be requested and held on option. A payment schedule for the individual group will then be sent to you after discussion concerning deadlines.

An initial deposit of 10% per group is required to confirm space and services being held on your behalf, unless otherwise agreed.

FTP will send you a final invoice for each group at least 56 days prior to arrival based on your projected passenger numbers. This invoice should be settled no later than 42 days prior to the group's arrival.

Any amendment to this final invoice ( credit notes or additional invoices) will be raised and sent to you by fax. Any outstanding balance must be paid and received within 7 working days prior to the group's arrival.

'Last minute groups' confirmed within 56 days of arrival will be invoiced and due immediately. The above terms and conditions will also apply.

E - Payment Methods
All payments must be sent in EUROS. They can be made by bank transfer directly to our account held at :

French Travel Partners will not pay your bank charges.

FTP will also accept a payment by cheque payable to "FRENCH TRAVEL PARTNERS', but only drawn on a French Bank only. FTP regrets that we are unable to accept Euros amounts drawn on non-French bank accounts unless you are in agreement to pay all bank charges that are incurred. Cheques will only be accepted if received 56 days prior to a group's arrival. In the event that a group is confirmed less than 56 days prior to arrival, a bank transfer must be made.

FTP reserves the right to cancel all bookings and services if the payment schedule is not respected. If a deposit and / or a part payment have been made, this will be forfeited and definitively lost.

F - Force Majeure
FTP will not be liable or held responsible for any loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with the tour, where performance and/or prompt performance of the contract is prevented by reason of war or threat of war, act of god, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute ( affecting employees or any person other than those of the company), terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, hostilities or political unrest and other similar conditions beyond the control of the company.

G - Changes After Arrival Made By The Client
Any modification or abandonment of travel/restauration or hotel accommodation after the client has commenced the tour will be in breach of the contract and will not be accepted as any basis of claim against the company and no refunds/credit will be made. Any additional charges incurred will be at the cost of the client.

H - Complaints
Any problems with the services provided during the group's stay, must be communicated as soon as they occur. A complaint must be made to the company supplying the service( i.e. Hotel, bus company, restaurant).

FTP can be contacted on the 24 hour emergency service outside of normal office hours.

If this procedure is not respected, we cannot accept responsibility, as we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem.

FTP will not accept any liability in respect of any query , which is not reported to us in writing within the next 7 working days of the group returning home.

In the unlikely event of a book out which is beyond our control, FTP guarantees to provide an alternative accommodation of at least equal standard.

The client can not use the pretext of a complaint to delay payment of contracted services. All invoices made be paid in full before a complaint can be reviewed.

I - Special Clause
No alcohol, illegal drugs or firearms can be introduced into the hotels, bus services, restaurants or any of the services supplied by FTP. Any alcohol which is consummed in the hotel must have been bought at the hotel bar or from the minibar and the client must be of the age of 18 years old. In the event that your client does not respect this, FTP reserves the right to discontinue the services without any refund and inform the appropriate authorities.

J - Arbitration
If conflict occurs in applying this contract, only the 'Tribunal de Grande d'Instance de Paris' will be competent.
