Permanent positions
French Travel Partners invests a lot of time and energy in training its personnel to the highest standard possible.
Although you may have
studied Travel & Tourism or foreign languages at your College or University and think you are immediately employable,
the reality has
shown that in the office environment a period of 2 to 3 months hands on work experience and adaptation is necessary
before you are fully
functional.
Most of our clients are from abroad and therefore we require a high level of linguisticy, fluent French, English and
another language if
possible, depending on which department you are joining ( German or Swedish for example). You will be required to have
a working
knowledge of the following software packages: - word, excel, outlook and if possible access. We are looking for people
who are creative,
imaginative and full of energy who will pass on these valuable and essential assets in the quotation proposals sent
to our clients. FTP's
personnel works as a close unit, so you must be a team player and be able to work independently on projects.

Work experience
During your studies you may require a work experience period in the travel industry. We are open to receiving tourism
or language
students in what we hope will be future employees for FTP after their studies. We require a minimum of 2 months full
time office
attendance during the work experience period.
We will invest our valuable time in training you and this can only be achieved by a full time work experience. Part-time
work experience
(i.e. 2 days in the office and 3 days at the college/university) is not acceptable.
